Pontoon Boat Rentals At Redfish Lake Lodge
Pontoon Boats rentals at Redfish Lake Lodge are a favorite activity for all who visit the lake each summer. They are the perfect blend of mountain relaxation and Idaho adventure. Here are some helpful tips on how to rent a pontoon boat at Redfish Lake Lodge this summer and what you will need to do to ensure that you have an incredible experience out on the water! (hint: it’s pretty easy!) We have two types of pontoon rentals: a 10 passenger boat, and a 14 passenger boat.
How/ When to Reserve:
It shouldn’t come as a surprise that summer days in July and August book up very quickly! If you would like to book a pontoon boat during these times, we recommend you book as early as plans allow, 6 – 8 months in advance should be plenty of time. Pontoon reservations become available at the time our lodging reservations open for booking (September of the year before your stay). If your group is on the larger side (15 or more) and you would like to take several boats out at one time, give us a call at 208-774-3536 and we can organize a group rental for you. If you have a group of 14 or less you can easily book online, as well as check prices here. We keep a boat or two available day-of for walk-in reservations. If all boats are booked, you can swing by the marina early in the morning the day of your desired reservation and see if we have any surprise availability!
What to bring:
While some guests like the more luxe experience of our sunset appetizer cruise. The Sunset Appetizer Cruise provides a driver while the Pontoon boats offer a more casual and laid back lake adventure sans provided driver, (not to worry we give you a short tutorial on how to captain your boat). We recommend that you bring the usual boating items; swimsuits, towels, sunscreen, sunglasses, a few good hats and of course plenty of good food and drinks! Dogs are welcome on the boats at no extra cost. Don’t forget to bring a driver’s license!
How to party:
While you are out on the lake, there are a couple of important things that you will need to know in order to insure your safety so you can have a blast while out on the boat. First, avoid the shallow areas. The clear water can be deceiving, but the last thing you want is to have to purchase a new prop should you come in contact with any rocks or fallen timber that could damage the boat. Second, be responsible. We want you to have the best time possible, but it is important that you drink responsibly for your safety and the safety of others. Third, be a smart swimmer! Never jump off the boat while it is moving and be sure that if you do, go visit jump rock. A great time will be had by all and watch out for other jumpers.
We hope that you have an amazing time renting a pontoon boat at Redfish Lake Lodge and look forward to helping you this awesome adventure out on the lake!
