On the main level of the rustic lodge, you’ll taste a true Idaho mountain brand of comfort food – a cuisine that will pleasantly surprise you in this remote and rugged country. We start with as much local Idaho grown ingredients as we can, then add our own blend of flavors from the Northwest’s wild resources. We specialize in salmon, trout, wild game, and other regional favorites. Our Stanley, Idaho restaurant also carries wines from acclaimed local, domestic, and international producers. The lake views and rustic lodge atmosphere will make this a memorable and ‘crave-able’ experience for small and large parties alike.
On the first floor of the main lodge, you will find Limbert’s, a staple for guests and visitors to the area. Named to honor Robert Limbert, who built the lodge in 1929, we aim to keep his authentic, rustic vision alive.
We serve breakfast to suit every pallet; from healthy fruit and house-baked granola to the Northwest-inspired grilled Idaho trout and chorizo, you will find a delicious option to accompany your view of Redfish Lake. Enjoy your breakfast with one of our many beverage options, including our special Redfish Blend coffee and espresso, created specifically for our guest by Treasure Valley Coffee Company.
Whether you are staying with us or up for a visit, we invite you to join us for dinner. Our chef-driven menu is a highlight for many people visiting the Sawtooth Valley. In staying true to Robert Limbert’s love for Idaho, Chefs Kelley Grindstaff and TJ Degnan have taken great care in curating a menu designed with Northwest ingredients and culture in mind. Our wine list is designed to pair well with our menu and has been carefully selected to feature many wines from the Pacific Northwest.
Large Parties (Groups of 8 or more guests)
Limbert’s has the capacity to accommodate large parties of up to 50 guests which can be organized with our Food and Beverage manager in advance over the phone. We encourage you to take advantage of our online reservation system or call our front desk for parties of all sizes. However, reservations are required for groups of 8 or more guests.

The Rustic Lounge
For many, the Redfish Rustic Lounge captures the charm of the resort. From the log-hewn stools to the “eccentric” memorabilia, you have not really seen Redfish Lake Lodge until you have stepped foot in the nostalgic bar. Trei, our bartender of over twenty years now, is not only an amazing bartender; he knows the backcountry like few in the area. Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday night we have “Happy Hour with Jen”. These experiences are beyond description, but trust us, it will be one of your fond memories of Redfish. Open all season, 7 days a week from 4 pm to midnight or noon to midnight during peak summer weeks.

A casual and tasty way to enjoy lunch or dinner while enjoying all the setting has to offer with your friends. The Lakeside Grill is open from 11:00 am to 8:00 pm daily weather permitting – offering mouth-watering burgers, wraps, sandwiches, fish tacos, burritos, soups, salads, and our famous “living the dream” soft-serve ice cream – plus beer and wine.
