We are still looking to fill the following positions:
Front of the House Manager at Limbert’s:
Limbert’s our incredible restaurant located in the historic lodge is seeking an enthusiastic, warm, and authentic Front of House Manager to join our team. We pride ourselves on delivering an exceptional dining experience to our guests, both in our restaurant and through our adventurous sunset appetizer cruises. As a Front of House Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the daily operations of the restaurant, as well as organizing large parties and events in the back of our dining room. This position requires energy, a love for adventure, and a deep passion for hospitality. This is a key management position at the lodge with great competitive pay (to be discussed at time of interview). Our outstanding previous F&B manager will be onsite for the first part of the season to train and help accommodate to the new role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide a warm, energetic, and authentic welcome to all guests, ensuring they have an unforgettable experience at Limbert’s.
- Oversee the daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring all service standards, health, and safety protocols are adhered to.
- Coordinate and manage large parties, working closely with the back of house team to ensure smooth service and exceptional food quality.
- Develop and execute creative and innovative ideas for our sunset appetizer cruises, collaborating with the culinary team to design and plan exciting menus.
- Train, mentor, and develop the front of house team, fostering a positive work environment that encourages teamwork, open communication, and personal growth.
- Proactively manage guest concerns, demonstrating empathy and a strong commitment to customer satisfaction.
- Monitor and analyze sales and guest feedback to identify trends, areas of improvement, and opportunities to enhance overall guest experience.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to promote Limbert’s special events and unique offerings.
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations related to food service and alcohol licensing.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in restaurant management or a related role.
- Strong knowledge of the hospitality industry, including an understanding of current trends and best practices.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to create strong relationships with both guests and team members.
- Proven experience in coordinating and managing large parties and events.
- Ability to think creatively and adapt to changing situations, with a passion for developing new and exciting experiences for our guests.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and work under pressure.
- Proficiency in point-of-sale (POS) systems and other relevant restaurant software.

Cash Manager:
Redfish Lake Lodge is seeking an organized, detail-oriented, and trustworthy Cash Manager to oversee all cash handling processes and maintain the financial integrity of our establishment. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of cash management principles and a commitment to providing excellent service to our guests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage daily cash transactions, ensuring accuracy and efficiency
- Reconcile cash registers and prepare cash deposits
- Monitor and maintain adequate cash supplies and change funds
- Implement and enforce cash handling policies and procedures
- Train and support staff in cash handling best practices
- Address guest inquiries and resolve cash-related issues
- Collaborate with management to ensure financial goals are met
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in cash handling or a related role, preferably within the hospitality industry
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Proficiency in basic accounting and financial management principles
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Chefs:

Nothing is more important to us than our Redfish family! We seek out warm, energetic, adventurous and authentic individuals who can provide the best hospitality humanly possible. That is our number one priority! Your summer at Redfish will be the best summer of your life. Ask any of our previous team members. It will also be filled with many challenges that will help you grow in ways that you might not have imagined. A summer at the lake means a summer filled with adventure, long days, and relationships that will last a lifetime. Our season runs from the first of May until the middle of October. The crew ranges from 80- 90 employees when we are fully staffed. First consideration is given to those who can work at least through Labor Day weekend, and preferably through the end of our season.
Employment
We are happy to work with students looking for internships, and any of our positions can be tailored into an internship.
Experience is helpful for all positions and required for some. For example, we prefer our marina crew to have experience in outboard motor maintenance. Of course, our cooks should have chef or culinary experience. Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and lawn care is helpful in maintenance. Most important is your desire to learn and your ability to catch on quickly. The average age of a Redfish employee is 21, so maturity is assumed.
Qualifications
- Must be U.S. Citizen with a social security card, or have a work permit.
- Must be 17 years or older. For wait staff, store clerk, or bartender, must be 19 years or older.
- Must be responsible, honest, positive, and love the outdoors.
- Appearance must be neat and clean. No visible facial hooks, rings, or barbs allowed. Appropriate earring and necklace jewelry acceptable for women.
- Must abide by the Drug-free Workplace Policy. Redfish promotes a drug-free work environment and reserves the right to conduct drug testing.
Application
Your application should be submitted early, starting in February. Hiring is usually completed by May 15. Though we do occasionally make hires during our season. You can apply online using our online application form.

Because of our remote location, we provide room and board for employees and most live on-site.
