Where Outdoors Meets Adventure
Camping At Redfish Lake
Redfish Lake Camping Information
There are multiple incredible campgrounds right next to Redfish Lake Lodge! These campgrounds accept Tent, Trailer, RV’s and Vans. While non of the campgrounds have full hook ups, all have running water and pit toilets. Redfish Lake campgrounds are NOT administered by Redfish Lake Lodge. We are happy to answer any questions you might have and would love to see you at the lodge or marina during your adventure! The area ranger station of the U.S. Forest Service (208-774-7000) can also help with any questions regarding camping within the Sawtooth National Forest.
Please call 1-877-444-6777 or go to Recreation.gov for reservations.
Hint: The people you talk to at this number are contracted by the Forest Service, so they do not necessarily know the area well. Be specific about where you want a reservation: Idaho, Sawtooth National Recreation Area, Redfish Lake, or specific campground. Research the areas before you reserve in order to specify where you want to camp with the Forest Service.
Point, Glacier View, and Outlet campgrounds require reservations. Heyburn and Sockeye Campgrounds are first come, first serve. Whether you’re looking to come to Redfish Lake for a few days or a full week, you can also check Redfish Lake Lodge availability as an alternative to Redfish Lake camping if the place you wish to camp is booked. We also have three sister properties in the town of Stanley.
If you have further questions about the campgrounds, please contact the Stanley Forest Service Ranger Station at 208-774-3000.
